Policies
💸 Payment of Fees
• Registration Fee: $25 per family (non-refundable, due at registration)
Recreational Program
• Trial period ends October 14, 2025
• If withdrawing, notice must be given by email only on or before October 14
• After October 14: Full-season tuition, costume fees, and all other fees are due in full and non-refundable
In cases of illness/injury, a credit may be issued for the next season (doctor’s note required).
Competitive Program
• Commitment deadline: September 14, 2025
• Withdrawal requests must be made by email only on or before September 14

💳 Tuition Payment Options
• Pay in full at registration OR Interest-free payment plan: 10 equal payments (August 1 – May 1)
• Payments are due by the 15th of each month
• Missed payments will incur a 2.5% monthly interest charge on the outstanding balance
Recreational Costume Fees
• Due December 1, 2025
• Not eligible for payment plans and are non-refundable

🎄 Christmas Recital
• Open to non-competitive dancers
• Each dancer receives an EDS Christmas tee to wear for all routines ($10/tee)

🌟 Year-End Recital
• Open to all students with good attendance
• Required:
• Attend at least 80% of classes
• Must attend final 3 classes before recital
• Dancers not participating must notify the studio by December 1 (via email only)
• Costume fees are non-refundable and due December 1

📌 Studio Rules & Guidelines
• Parents must pick up dancers immediately after class
• Parents are not allowed in the classroom at any time
• Dress code must be respected (see above)
• No tolerance for fighting, bullying, theft, or vandalism
• Positive behavior is expected from dancers and parents (in-studio & online)
• Teacher meetings must be booked by email appointment only
• Class cancellations announced by 2:00 PM via voicemail & email
• Classes moved online, postponed or cancelled due to poor weather are not refunded
Illness & Attendance
• No refunds/credits for missed classes
• Sick dancers must remain at home
• Head lice: 8 days after full treatment OR 48 hours after treatment with proof of visit to lice clinic
• Pink eye: Must remain out until 24 hrs after prescribed drops or no symptoms
• Submit absences via the online studio portal

• No food allowed outside the lunchroom
• Only water is permitted during class
• Encore is a peanut-free facility
• Label all belongings; lost items will be donated monthly
• Check emails regularly for newsletters & updates
• Update your contact info with the studio if it changes

🎁 Fundraising Policy
• No individual or external fundraising on behalf of EDS or other students
• Fundraising proceeds may be applied to:
Tuition, costumes, EDS gear, rehearsal/entry fees
• May not be used for recital tickets, The Studio Boutique, etc.
• Leftover funds are carried over for one season only
• No refunds, credits, or transfers of unused fundraising balances

• Girls: Bodysuit or tank top, dance shorts (any color/style), Dancepaws/Foot Undeez or bare feet
